N&D Farmina
Introduction
Farmina dog food is available at retailers in the United States and Europe. It’s an Italian pet food company that produces three lines of dog food full of only high-quality ingredients. It’s difficult to find anything negative to say about this food because it has glowing reviews and has established itself as a premium brand.
WHY I LOVE IT: Farmina is a classic well known food that has some good recipes imo. The three main lines that I personally like are their Pumpkin line, Prime and Fish. I like that they have a large variety. Find at your local pet shop. Cost: ~$5/day (50lb dog)
Pros:
-
Has fish options
-
Higher in protein
- No Recall History
- Large variety of recipes
Cons:
-
Not clear on sourcing
-

-
Uses peas
- Some recipes have a strong odor
Recall History
There is no recall history available for Farmina in the United States or Europe, which speaks to the company’s standards for safety and quality. However, just because the food has never had a recall doesn’t mean it will never happen. You should always be aware of recall alerts and issues, especially for the brand of food that you buy.
